ena George is best known for her Cornish-based Loveday Mysteries Series, and Jack Drummond Thrillers set in the Scottish Highlands, but she is also the talented author of much loved romance novels, and romantic adventures set in 18th century Poldark country.

Coming from a newspaper background, she’s written for The Daily Record in Glasgow and other national newspapers, including the Daily Mail Group. She has worked for DC Thomson and published stories in most of the popular UK magazines including Take a Break, Chat, Woman and The People’s Friend. Her Pocket novels have been published as Large Print paperbacks for Linford Romance Library and Linford Mystery Library and are available worldwide.

Rena creates strong characters in stories set in areas she knows well and loves. Her keen eye for detail with a talent for twists and turns while uncovering secrets in every story, keeps the reader guessing right to the last page.

Though born in Glasgow, her roots run deep in the rugged landscape of Cornwall, where her forebears worked as tin miners. When not writing her next engaging mystery, she enjoys family gatherings and walking the cliff path in Yorkshire where she now lives.
