Some Creature Comforts …

I’m stepping aside for the animals this week – and if you want to know why, well just take a look at the fabulous creatures below (but don’t miss that final clip)

This Cornish pair look as if they’ve just had a big falling out – or maybe they were just enjoying the fabulous view over St Ives harbour.

Not sure what kind of hawk this chap is, but he was huge, and didn’t seem to mind my creeping closer to take this picture at Chysauster, an iron age settlement near Penzance.Another Jersey Cow

We met this gorgeous creature on a recent visit to Jersey – She had eyelashes to die for!

Do you remember all the recent news stories about this lovely Scots couple who failed to notice the brown bear on the porch of their holiday villa?

Well, you ain’t see nothing yet. Just take a look at this clip…Eeek!

Have a lovely week, everyone.

Hi Debs, how lovely to see you here. I adore Jersey, and have many happy memories of wonderful holidays there, but funnily enough this is the first time I thought to take a picture of the gorgeous Jersey cows. Rx

There’s a lovely country house near us, Cara, where the family open the gardens for the Snowdrop Walk every year. The snowdrops are expected to be at their peak there in about two weeks time – so maybe Spring isn’t that far away. Hope not! Rx

Aw Sue, I was depending on you recognising that hawk. Never mind, I’ll just have to try and get closer next time!! Glad you liked the pictures, though. Rx
