I have news, and I can’t wait to share it. The Large Print publishers, Ulverscroft, have just accepted my crime novel, A Cornish Revenge, for publication in their Linford Mystery imprint.
Several of my books have previously been taken up by this lovely publisher, but this is the first one that didn’t start life as a pocket novel. It’s also the first that is not a romance.
My previous Large Print novel, Another Chance, which was only published on August 1, has already sold out of its print run. And I was thrilled to discover that there is a waiting list for it at my library.
Four of my short stories have been accepted by the online fiction site Alfie Dog and they should go live on Saturday, October 5.
And…my next Linford Romance, Trust in Me, comes out on November 1. Phew!
Sorry if this post is all a bit gushy, but I am in a very happy place today.
An extra bit of news – I’ve just learned from The People’s Friend that the wordcount on all future Pocket Novels has been reduced from 50,000 to 40,000 to facilitate the new bigger font size.
I just wish they could have told me this before I finished my current novella. I have some serious cutting to do…
